PRESENTATION

Understand Foreign Exchange (FX) instruments and strategies used daily by investors, traders and corporate treasurers.

There is no market bigger and more dynamic than FX. This market allows corporations to hedge foreign currency exposure and allows investors to speculate on future money trends.

Since the inception of the Euro in 1999, the FX market has been steady growing to reach a 5 trillion daily turnover, making it the largest and most liquid market in the world. But the globalization of exchanges and the interdependence of markets have also increased the volatility of currencies.

Coinciding with its popularity and heightened volatility the FX market has grown increasingly complex Today 70% of the FX market uses derivatives ranging from simple forward transactions to more complex swaps and options.

Use this FX MOOC to understand this complex market and equip yourself with an increasingly important skill set.
